Maxillary canine single implant restoration using 1-stage implant system Case reports

Abstract
|

|
The maxillary permanent canine tooth is generally considered to be an important tooth the dental arch by virtue of its place in the scheme of functional occlusion, its contribution to the appearance of the patients, its root size and length and its role in establishing arch form. In case of impacted canine tooth, usually deciduous teeth remained on the dental arch. So mediodistal dimension of canine edentulous ridge are decreased. We cannot normally restore the implant canine without orthodontic treatment.
But if we got minimum 6 mm of mesiodistal space, we can install implant on the missing area without disturbing esthetics and functions. Single implant restoration is one of the most common treatment modalities in implant dentistry.
This article is 3 case of reports about restoring these missing area.
